	Welcome to Butterton Moor House Our beautiful 16th century home, originally built as a gentleman’s house and working farm, is set within the Peak District National Park and on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales. The stone property now offers luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in Butterton Moor Cottage and Butterton Moor Loft . The excellent leisure facilities include a beautiful indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, billiards room and childrens' play area. The fabulous facilities and stunning scenery provide the perfect holiday setting for walking, cycling, visiting historic houses – Chatsworth is close by - or just meandering around the picture postcard villages and enjoying excellent local pubs and restaurants. Riding is available in the area where you can explore the many miles of bridle paths close by. Families with children of all ages will find a host of activities and places to visit within the Peak District, and the famous Alton Towers Theme Park is just down the road! We have enjoyed living at Butterton Moor House since September 2007 and are continually improving and upgrading the holiday accommodation and guest facilities.
