If you'd like your own special, cosy place in the country where there is all the space in the world to walk, cycle, climb or just to explore the lovely Peak District and Derbyshire Dale villages, then stay with us at our self-catering properties, Butterton Moor Cottage or Butterton Moor Loft.

You can swim in our beautifully warm indoor pool or have a game of billiards or snooker. Children will love the specially designed outdoor play area, safely surrounded with bark chippings, with swings, slides and their own furnished house to play in. If you love to cycle, we have a small number of cycles to hire, please ask for more information, or if you'd like to bring your own we have secure storage available on request.

The swimming pool is open throughout the year and you can swim at almost any time from 8am until 9pm (occasionally the pool may be unavailable during the middle part of the day). The billiard room and the children's play area are also available from 8am until 9pm.

At Butterton Moor House in the Peak District we have 2 holiday properties - Butterton Moor Loft, sleeping 5, which is joined to the main house, and the detached Butterton Moor Cottage which sleeps 4 people.

Both properties can accommodate additional put up beds to sleep extra guests. With 1 additional bed in the Cottage and 2 in the Loft we can comfortably accommodate 12 guests, which is ideally suited to family groups. For parties other than family groups please contact us to discuss before booking.

The kitchen in the Loft is large enough to seat 10 guests around the table, allowing larger groups who have booked both properties to eat together.

Our very well equipped self-catering properties have been recently refurbished and have a three star rating from the English Tourism Council.
Our aim is to make your holiday as easy and enjoyable as possible, particularly if you’re staying with children. Both properties have a DVD player and a selection of children’s DVDs, colouring books, crayons and games. Cots with bedding, highchairs, changing mats, sterilisers, bottle warmers and night lights are also available on request.

To make your stay even easier Tesco will deliver groceries to your door and there is also a Chinese takeaway delivery service.

Unfortunately, in consideration of future guests we are unable to accept pets.
